Magical Lanterns & Floating Worlds

Creative day from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Suitable for age 5 to 12 years old Join us for a vibrant day of creativity where children will design, build and decorate their own magical lantern sculptures inspired by colour, pattern, nature and imagination. Students will explore drawing, painting, sculpture and installation art while creating beautiful lanterns to take home and display. Using painted paper circles, beads, wire and hanging elements, children will create a colourful mobile inspired by planets and floating dream worlds. What We’ll Make ✨ Colourful paper lantern sculptures ✨ Mobiles hanging decorations ✨ drawings and design ideas ✨ A collaborative installation of magical lanterns ✨ Artwork inspired by light, colour and imagination 🌈 Day Schedule 9:00 – 9:30 am - Welcome & Creative Warm-Up Meet new friends, Fun drawing games, Colour exploration, Sketch activities to spark ideas 9:30 – 10:30 am - Lantern Design Children will create drawings inspired by: Under the sea, Outer space, Rainbows and patterns, Animals and imaginary creatures Students develop designs before building. 10:30 – 10:45 am - Morning Tea Break 10:45 am – 12:00 pm - Lantern Sculpture Workshop 12:00 – 12:45 pm - Picnic Lunch at the Park, Fresh air, play and relaxation. 12:45 – 2:30 pm - Mini Floating Worlds Mobile 2:30 – 2:45 pm - Gallery Installation We transform the studio into a magical lantern exhibition and display everyone’s creations together. 2:45 – 3:00 pm - Show & Share - Celebrate the day’s artwork and take home: What’s Included ✅ All art materials ✅ Lanterns and sculpture supplies ✅ Professional artist guidance ✅ Take-home artworks ✅ A fun and inspiring creative day A colourful day of imagination, creativity and making magical things . ✨🏮
