Creative Kids Thursday - Term 4

Thursday 4:00 to 5:30 pm Term 3 Including 10 weekly classes From Thursday 12th of October till 14th of December Playful, colourful and totally hands-on, The Art Studio’s Creative Kids art classes make learning painting and drawing techniques fun. These classes are designed to help kids develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self-expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes. What They Will Learn * Drawing basics - Sketching & colouring * Painting with acrylic on canvas - brush work & colour mixing * Fun Comics drawing - step by step developing imagination • Painting with coloured ink - expression & freedom * Sculpting with air dry clay and more ... Meet a ‘Real’ Artist The Art Studio is introducing the kids to a ‘real’ artist studio environment. Classes are guided by professional artists with extensive teaching experience. With small groups of up to 12 kids, The Art Studio is a fantastic experience and an opportunity to express and develop their visual skills and their natural talent. Each class runs for 1 and a half hours, allowing the children to create a drawing as well as a painting using a variety of art materials such as pencil, oil pastels and soft pastels, coloured ink, acrylic paint, clay and more! This is a fun, creative experimenting class where kids can play with a wide range of materials and learn how to paint and draw step by step.
