Creative Kids Thursday - Term 2

Thursday 4:00 to 5:30 pm Term 2 Including 10 weekly classes From Thursday 2nd of May till 4th of July 2024 Playful, colourful and totally hands-on, The Art Studio’s Creative Kids art classes make learning painting and drawing techniques fun. These classes are designed to help kids develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self-expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes. What They Will Learn * Drawing basics - Sketching & colouring * Painting with acrylic on canvas - brush work & colour mixing * Fun Comics drawing - step by step developing imagination • Painting with coloured ink - expression & freedom * Sculpting with air dry clay and more ... Meet a ‘Real’ Artist The Art Studio is introducing the kids to a ‘real’ artist studio environment. Classes are guided by professional artists with extensive teaching experience. With small groups of up to 12 kids, The Art Studio is a fantastic experience and an opportunity to express and develop their visual skills and their natural talent. Each class runs for 1 and a half hours, allowing the children to create a drawing as well as a painting using a variety of art materials such as pencil, oil pastels and soft pastels, coloured ink, acrylic paint, clay and more! This is a fun, creative experimenting class where kids can play with a wide range of materials and learn how to paint and draw step by step. We accept the CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER from NSW Services : ) *Please email voucher number and child’s DOB to redeem voucher BEFORE BOOKING ONLINE – info@theartstudio.net.au Note to parents Kids under 10 years of age should be accompanied to the studio's classroom, to make sure the door is open and the teacher is present and they have safly arrived into the class. The studio is responsible for the kids within the classroom only. If you do not want to park and get out of the car, we suggest that the child will wave you from the studio's window so you make sure they have made it to class safely. Thank you!
